“When I open the lid to replace the ink cartridge, it tells me "the cover door must be closed to continue"... so, how do I install the cartridge with the door closed?”

• It will say that until you close cover. Just replace cartridges, then close cover and the note will go away.

• You need to close the cover to print, but when the cover is open the carriage will scoot across to allow the ink to be changed. After you change it, close the cover again.
