“Can this HP6978 be set to wireless manually WITHOUT going to and using HP app? If its possible without app, please describe the procedure. I am not using the HP ink subscription service. Thank you!”

• I don’t have the app or Wi-Fi at my house. I connect the printer to my phone hotspot and HDMI cord to my laptop. I use the screen on the printer to select my phone hotspot when it’s looking for a wifi connection

Install it on the device (computer, tablet, smartphone) you want to print from, and then use it to set up the printer connection. By installing the HP Smart app, you also install all drivers necessary to print and scan.
