- Answer The OfficeJet Pro 6978 printer uses the 902 black, magenta, yellow and cyan cartridges. Standard yield cartridges will print up to 300 pages in black and up to 315 pages in color. The 902XL will print up to 825 pages in black and 825 in color.

- Answer Thank you for your question! This will come with a set of small setup cartridges for your initial print jobs. You will want to purchase replacement cartridges (HP 902, HP 902XL) or sign up for HP Instant Ink before they run out.

- Answer In short, yes it is compatible with Windows 11. According to HP on this product: "HP Smart is compatible with Windows 11 and Windows 10 version 1809 or higher. HP values that updated operating systems offer our users increased security and privacy protection." You can read more and get the Driver and other software by going to their driver support page for Software and drivers for HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 All-in-One Printer --that is where I got that info. On a side note, it's pretty compatible with various operating systems. I've used it with Windows 11, 10 and macOS 12.0 Monterey.
