I'm not sure what the question is but, yes, a color printer almost always comes with 4 cartridges. I guess there are some that might combine the 3 different cartridge tanks into one cartridge but I certainly prefer 4 cartridges so I don't have to throw away an expensive multi-cartridge when one color becomes empty.
