For the X series or double ink the color and Black set up is about $100.00 for 3 color and 1 black cartridge. We use about $350.00 of ink a year -- but we print some 2,000+ plans at 11x17 and somewhere close to 5,000 pages at 8-1/2 x 11 not that expensive for the low volume ---
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The cost to print per page is comparable to printing on a laser which is very good (aprrox 2¢ a page according to their specs). I can tell you that we printed a few posters that had significant green on them, and quickly ran our of yellow ink in the process. Fortunately you buy each color separately and they cost about $33 a piece. I don't know how much ink came with the printer versus the amount of ink you get when you buy the ink cartridge. It's possible that a new ink cartridge would have lasted longer.
