“Does this printer automatically read the ink levels and send ink as needed like my 8035 that I love? Or do I have to call HP to have more sent. Also I assume cartridges are included but don't show in the pictures.”

Thank you for the question. Yes, when you opt-in to the Instant Ink trial (or subscribe otherwise), the ink levels will be monitored and you'll receive replacements before you run out. No phone call is necessary, however, make sure that your printer is connected to the internet. Yes, cartridges are included in the box. Thank you for being an HP customer!
