• Yes. It's definitely compatible with Apple Mac OS. I have been using Apple Macbook Pro's since 2008 with HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 and the 8710 with no issues at all. It is Bonjour compatible and the Mac will find the printer on the network and set it up automatically.
