• This printer is VERY picky about phone lines it will work on as a fax machine. We could not get ANY HP printer to work as a fax machine in our office, which uses VoiP. In my home, a similar printer hooked up to a Comcast modem worked fine (VoiP) however it was close by to the modem. Had I had the printer in another room with a long line to the modem, this could have been a problem.
