• Have not used any odd size in scanning I just used them on the glass

• The scan speeds are up to 8ppm single sided and 4ppm duplex. For delicate papers like receipts or odd sizes I would highly recommend using the flatbed scanner rather than the document feeder to prevent tearing or jamming, and that goes for any printer, not just this one.
