• I no longer use FAX so I don't have that set up on this printer. Therefore I can't answer that portion of your question. I have found out that you DO need a computer to email from the printer, whether you use a program like Outlook or an Internet based email address. The printer expects a browser to be opened on a computer if you plan to email that way and the printer software on the computer also. I hope this helps. Great printer by the way.

• Yes, you can directly from the printer, independent of the computer. It also has computer app to do on computer.
