A:AnswerNo it takes the 952 or 952XL ink cartridges. They are built differently if you compare the 564 and the 952 you would see the difference. The HP Photosmart 7520 is what I replaced and it took the 564.
A:AnswerI use a PC and my sons both use Macs, and we all use the HP 8710 printer via Wi-Fi. I don't know about cable needs if you're planning to connect directly to the printer.
A:AnswerIt does have printheads but they can't be replaced. Some older printers can be replaced but the cost is so high you are better off buying the latest printer for same price.
A:AnswerWill print from any email capable device even if no other driver available. Printer driver available on Kindle Fire too, but unsure about the Kindle readers. Even if no drivers available can still print with the HP ePrint option.
A:AnswerNo. I highly recommend looking into the HP replacement ink program. I'm paying $4.99 a month for 100 pages of printing. There are 2 other plans available. That's less than $60 a year, less than replacing all 4 ink tanks 1 time for the 8710. The ink arrives to your door before you need it as your printer is connected to HP via your WIFI connection. I can keep up w/pages printed by going to my online account. "IF" I were to have heavier than normal printing month, I can easily upgrade for that month. Look into it at (hpconnected.com) or call 855.785.2777. I'll never have to keep ink on stand by or pay retail for ink again as long as HP keeps the program rolled out. Hope this is helpful for your needs as it dang well fills the bill for this Texan!
