“Does the HP 9015 read the expiration date of ink cartridges and force you to replace the particular cartridge that may have reached the expiration date even though there may be plenty of ink remaining in that particular cartridge ? Some HP printers do.”

The ink cartridges do not have expiration dates but rather warranty dates. The printer will allow you to use the cartridges even past that date.
