“Does this printer turn on automatically when you print a document or do you have to physically have to turn on the printer?”

• As long as the printer is in sleep mode, it should come on automatically when notified that there's a print job. If the printer is actually turned off, you'll need to physically turn it on.

• I leave mine turned on all the time. It stays in sleep mode awaiting all my commands from remote printing or remote faxing.
