• Hp team is wrong. Yes there is a second slot for an m.2 drive and it has a heat shield over it that you will need to remove the plastic film. The hp team answers on a few questions have been completely wrong so make sure to do your own research. This answer is available on multiple platforms including YouTube with a video tear down.

• Yes, you can turn off the RGB back lighting on the keyboard. There isn't a free NVMe m.2 slot to add a second SSD
