“Hey Im a college student and I will at one point return to college, sometimes we have 3 hr long classes and I was wondering if I can extend the battery life somehow? Also I heard the fans are loud on idle, what's your opinion on them(I will be in a class)”

There’s an option in the Omen App to make the fans quiet, there’s also power plan to save battery life. The computer comes with a Hybrid and performance setting. I’d advice you to not use performance as your not able to do much. Your colors will not be good, as your saturation is set to super low. Keyboard Lighting is turned off.
