“Not much of a gamer but looking for a good laptop to watch/edit videos from my GoPro. Would this work well? Seems the gaming laptops have more of what I need.”

• This would work fine for editing videos. I would recommend adding an SSD though.

• It will indeed. It's graphics are way better than that of a normal laptop. Picture qualities are pretty awesome.
