“Do the fans ever run completely quiet or is there always fan noise?”

• Yes! It runs quiet when the laptop is cool, but when there is a medium load applied the fans will kick on. If you want something a little quieter I'd suggest a Acer Creator laptop. Similar specs but the fans kick on a little later.
