Yes you can install another M.2 SSD. I just bought a Samsung M.2 from BestBuy and slapped it in this laptop no issues at all. Simply partition the ssd and you are good to go.

I bought this exact laptop and just put in an extra 1TB SSD.

There isn't a an extra slot available, so you'd need to replace the existing NVMe m.2 drive with a drive with a capacity of 1 terabyte.
