CS Student here. I use Linux as a main OS but I always have a dual boot with Windows just in case and it works perfectly. I was super happy with the performance. As I said, I am also a student, and is not the most convenient laptop to carry around, but I am speaking from the perspective of someone who doesn't play video games. Maybe the size and the weight of both laptop and charger is a price that you are willing to pay in order to play video games.
