“Say I wanted to mount this monitor to a monitor arm which uses vesa to mount it. From the pictures this monitor doesn't look like it has the 4 screw holes at the back. So is it possible to mount this monitor via vesa on a monitor arm?”

Yeh. There is this diamond shape plastic cover that pops off and you will be able to use VESA approved arms to mount. You can still pop it back in if the VESA mount you are using is small enough to fit inside. In my case the X shaped VESA metal piece didn't fit in perfectly (2 edges were out, 2 edges in). I was still able to secure the monitor with the screws in place, but the plastic back cover didn't pop back in (looks pretty ugly at this point). After an attempt to sand off the edge, I just gave up and am using the original stand that came with the monitor. The stand is actually pretty descent.
