Without knowing what model the computer is, it's impossible to determine why that previous monitor only gave you 60 fps. If it's an issue with the Display Port or the video card in the computer, it may only be possible to drive the monitor at 60 fps at the 2560x1440 resolution.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The only solution that comes to mind is maybe you need a modern and updated display port cable (version 2.1). There is also the possibility that you have the cable plugged into the right most side of the GPU instead of the left most port. If that's not the case then the only thing else I could recommend is updating your display driver or ensuring you have the correct refresh rate settings enabled in in your operating system settings. To check in windows 11, simply go to settings - display - advanced display - choose a refresh rate.
