QuestionDoes anyone know if the RAM speed drops when you add 32GB? Or does this issue only happen when adding an additional 8GB?

- Answer You will want to check the BIOS to make sure all the memory sticks are running at the same speed. The computer will default to the slowest speed of all the memory sticks installed.

QuestionWhere can i purchase the ram directly from hp so it comes at the advertised speed? the one purchased from hyperx comes at 2400 mhz and there is no option to overclock ram on this computer

- Answer It looks like HP released a driver update for the Omen Command Center with the option to overclock. However, I am not able to get the option added to my command center.

- Answer The motherboard is the machine. Replacing the motherboard in a computer is like replacing the engine and entire drivetrain of a car - all you've kept is the metal shell and maybe a few accessories. So yeah, while you *can* upgrade the motherboard, you'd also be upgrading the CPU, RAM, probably GPU.. you're better off buying a whole new box.

QuestionMy pc won’t turn on I’m pressing the power button and it just simply won’t turn on. I unplugged it from the power cord and tried and it didn’t work. Everything else connected to the power cord is fine .

- Answer On the back of the computer near where the power cord goes in should be a little switch that controls power going to the power supply (and then to the rest of the computer. Try flipping that and seeing if that corrects the problem. If it doesn't, you'll need to contact the HP support team so they can troubleshoot the problem.

- Answer I had to call HyperX support after buying and installing the Kingston HyperX fury RGB 3200 MHz 8GB RAM from Amazon. It works, but it will not run at the advertised speed of 3200 MHz and it will not run in dual channel mode. To set the new RAM at the higher frequency, XMP Profile 1 for this memory slot has to be enabled in the bios. You can enable this function in the BIOS on most motherboards, but this functionality is missing from the HP bios. In order to enable the higher operating speed and to run in dual channel memory mode, you will have to purchase and install the 8GB of RAM directly from HP. The cost is $122.64 plus tax and shipping.

- Answer No it will not. The system supports PC4-21300 (DDR4-2666) RAM.
