“The specs say that there are only two total slots for memory. Do they mean two open slots? If I buy I'm probably going to put 4 x 16s in so I'd need 4 slots total.”

Yes it for sure has 4 slots!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It has 4 total slots 2 are used from the factory installed ram. Best buy told me it was best to replace all 4 sticks at the same time with 1 brand so all the specs match. I sold my old 2 and have 4 of the rgb Kingston ram now. No issues
