I do a lot of Photoshop work so yes, fast enough to edit photos. You can also pick up another memory stick as well. It comes with one stick of 16GB but I added a second one to make it 32GB. Picked up one which another person here recommended. Looked all over and BestBuy didn't carry it, unfortunately. It was on the site of another popular online retailer.
