“I will be using this for rendering with D5. I know the graphics card will work great, but I'm not sure about the processor. Is it compatible? Can I upgrade to 32 RAM? Will I need more fans to keep it from over heating while rendering?”

System is super quiet and I am a heavy gamer. I did add more memory but have had no issues with it heating. Has remained super cool. Love this system

As to whether it might suffer from overheating, I'm not familiar enough with that software to know how it splits up the rendering between the GPU and CPU (typically GPU will be faster, but if there's not enough memory on the video card to handle the entire scene, it may offload some of the processing to the CPU), how resource heavy your scenes are, and several other factors. Your best option would be to contact the D5 support team to talk about how you intend to use the software so they can advise what the best options would be to make sure the computer doesn't overheat.
