I am not seeing any way to halt charging of the battery under neither Battery Saver or Energy Saver. As I said for other manufacturers it's a custom app provided by the manufacturer, not a windows setting. Can it be set under BIOS settings on this HP laptop?

Thank you for your question, this is a windows setting. You can change these settings under Battery Saver, or Energy Saver in windows settings.
