“Can the Windows Home license be upgraded to Windows Pro?”

This question is not related to laptop. But i was interested in this query as well. Read a little bit about this online and found out that windows home can be upgraded to windows pro with less cost than if you buy a fresh windows pro. One caveat would be that the upgraded window will work on this laptop only and you won’t be able to transfer it to another laptop, if needed. Some users mentioned that since you don’t have windows pro license key after upgrade, you won’t be able to install/register window pro if it gets corrupted for some reason. Not sure how true that is, but something to be cautious about.
