Short answer - no. This computer has very limited expansion options. It comes with an M.2 solid-state hard drive. The only other M.2 slot, which is a smaller size, is used by the WiFi adapter. There are no internal bays, nor power or motherboard connections, for adding a SATA hard drive or optical drive. The only option for adding a disc drive is to use an external USB-attached drive. I bought a $20 USB DVDRW drive, and I'm considering buying a $30-50 USB dock that I can plug the SATA drives from my old computer into for easy data transfer.
