• A:Answer Hello and thank you for asking. You may connect speakers to the HP OmniDesk M03-0044 desktop computer by plugging them into the connectors on the rear of the computer. The green one is for speakers or for surround sound, the front speakers and the black one for rear surround sound speakers.

Q: QuestionIt appears that the only way to increase the capacity is to swap out the SSD for a larger one or buy a machine with higher capacity. Why does the service guide then show two SSD ports (see attached)?

• A:Answer Thank you for your question about this HP OmniDesk! One M2 port is 80mm in length and occupied by the factory-installed SSD while the other M.2 is much shorter and has the WLAN module. You can find an SSD in that form factor, but there is no guarantee that the computer BIOS will pick it up. Additionally, you would need to shift your WLAN and Bluetooth to the external USB ports to retain those features. Your best option is to use an external SSD to add another drive.

Your options are to either swap out the factory-installed drive for a larger-capacity drive, purchase a higher-storage model, or purchase an enclosure for your existing hard drive and connect it to an open USB port.

Information on the 2311x monitor is sparse at HP's website, but a CNET review of this 2012-era monitor indicates it has HDMI, DVI, and VGA inputs, so you would be able to connect the computer to the HDMI input of the monitor if you buy an HDMI cable.
