• I had the same problem. But my monitor was able to support a HDMI cable which I used.

• This computer has one HDMI port and one DisplayPort port. You would need to buy an adapter to go from HDMI or DisplayPort to VGA. Although adapters are pretty cheap, you may want to consider just buying a new monitor that supports modern display connections.
