“With a new HP Pavilion 15.6 inch laptop, can I remove Windows 8.1 (ugh!!) and insert Windows 7.X? I am having enormous problems with W8.1: only some of the standard units on the display can be moved around or deleted (= very unflexible), the whole screen freezes and there is no way out except to kill the power switch (= I have had to run HP Refresh twice in as many days), I see no way to temporarily turn off or adjust the onboard security, and, there is a hidden notice that only some Security Programs are "compatible" with this OS. I now want to substitute a Windows 7 to get around all these problems with W8.1.”
