There is a 2.5” drive bay available for expanded storage. You can add more ram as well, but you will be replacing the existing chips to do so. Overclocking -any- laptop is a terrible plan, please don’t attempt it. The processor adjusts its speed on its own, and changes depending on cpu load and temperatures. Altering the default settings is a great way to cook your processor and void your warranty at the same time. It says it’s a 2.5ghz processor In the specs, but from my time with it, that’s below its average. Mine pushes up to 4.2ghz under load, and drops down as low as 1.5ghz when it has nothing to do.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately, there are not any free bays in the computer, and the i5-10300H processor is not designed to be overclocked. The computer should have a utility called the Omen Command Center that will allow you to adjust fan speeds.
