It does have a built-in microphone and Windows 11 has speech to text options. You can turn it on by pressing the Windows logo key + H. You would just have to pick which software you want to use to make the notes with and to send them. If you get an Office 365 subscription with the unit, you can use OneNote or Microsoft Word and then just attach the file to an email later.
