in order to install programs via CD/DVD you will have to purchase an external USB CD/DVD drive. if you a little tech-savvy you may create a virtual drive and install the programs via USB.

My daughter told me I can buy an external CD player. Another issue, I use a little mirror to see the usb connections below. Apart from this, this all in one is beautiful.

If you have a course that only provides the lessons on a DVD, then you would have to buy an external DVD drive which costs somewhere between $15 and $30 depending on the model.
