• The only difference between the HP Pavilion 23cw and the 23xw monitors is the HP Pavioion 23cw Contrast ratio 1000:1 static 5000000:1 dynamic and is black. The HP Pavilion 23xw monitor has Contrast ratio 1000:1 static; 10000000:1 dynamic and is white.

• I'm pretty sure the cw is the Best Buy model and the xw is what everyone else sells. All of the the specifications I can find are identical.

• The 23xw has a higher contrast ratio. 23xw has a 10000000.1 dynamic while the 23cw has a 5000000.1 dynamic. It also has a white base stand instead of black.
