“is there a way this computer would pick up my wifi signal without hooking up a cable to it?”

• Yes, I'm not tech savy at all. I just went to my settings and clicked on WiFi. The computer scanned for all the available internet connections and I just clicked on my WiFi and put in my WiFi's password and that was all. Hope this helps

• This printer does have built-in WiFi to connect to your router without cables.
