Is this monitor compatible with a MacBook Air? null

Pavilion has three input types. DataPort, HDMI, and USB3. MacAir has two USB 3 connections. Should be Load drivers and then connect. Display has specific warning it is not plug and play.

Yes it is. You would need an adapter to go from the Macbook USB-C to HDMI.
