• This HP PC does not have additional hard drive bays to support a secondary internal hard drive.

• Model 500-214 does not have a spare slot but I connected an external hard drive via a USB port.

• I think you can,but you need to find a suitable adapter to hold the hard drive. I thought about doing it, but I think HP makes it difficult. You can't just easily attach it to the hard drive frame.
