This HP is a quality personal use computer. Fast, lot of memory, fast large hard drive. Completely reliable for the past couple years.

Very good computer for price! Packed with useful hardware and speed is good. 2 tb hard drive is more than enough memory for us. Searches internet very quick and no hesitations like our old computer, 6 gb. Ram speeds things up too. Very happy with purchase and would definitely buy again!

After having the same computer for 10 years (yes, 10!) I was ready for a new one. I decided on this one after reading the reviews and prioritizing the features I really wanted. This computer was really easy to set up with step by step instructions and on screen prompts. Plus it processes everything so quickly and has a large amount of memory available. The only thing I would change would be the operating system. It is a little hard to get used to it since it is so different from previous versions plus there are a lot of apps that are included that I will probably never use.

i bought this computer to replace my compac presario as a gift for my mother.she is the computer nut and was looking for a new computer as a repacement for windowsXP. she loves it except for windows8 which is difficult for her to use.she has a hard time finding some of the programs that were on the XP. I'll have to buy her a book for windows8

While not being used for any serious graphic editing or data crunching it seems to be very quick. The CPU adjusts to the tasking and runs from a low of 1.7MHz observed to an upper limit of 3.5MHz (not observed yet). I guess it changes speed to save energy - anyway it's neat. Win 8.1 runs nicely on it although this is my first experience with it. My main computer is a Win 7-64 for comparison. Setup was quick and simple.

I'm not a techy by any means. I wanted a PC that would last me quite while so I looked for one that I wouldn't have to replace in a year or two. This one has plenty of speed (allows me to take full advantage of my internet connection) and has lots of memory. The only disadvantage is that my son is always on it to play his games. Our old PC used to lag so bad when he played that he wouldn't bother. Not any more.

Lots of memory, the AMD chip is very fast, machine is quiet and runs smooth. For the money it was a great buy.

My family loves this computer. It's very fast when surfing the internet. I also love how quiet it is. You don't get that loud fan sound. I;m not a big fan of windows 8.1 so I wish there was another option.

Ordered this via BB.com for another family member & had it shipped directly to them in another state. (We have an older version of this same pc.) Reported that it appears to work, although is taking them awhile to learn everything, as it has Windows 8. It's just a darn shame that computer companies today cannot see fit (probably interferes with their profits) to include a hard copy of instructions/directions/ troubleshooting with each new pc purchased. This would be very helpful to most average computer users. The online HELP is really pretty useless.

This PC was purchased as a replacement for a now expired and long-in-the-tooth Windows XP machine. Its ample 8GB of RAM and enormous 2TB hard drive was more than needed, but a nice bonus for the price. However, the very confusing, and sometimes non-responsive Windows 8.1 was not the upgrade I thought it would be. I'd rather have purchased a PC with Windows 7 in hindsight.

seems like this computer works very well. I have had to call geek squad a couple of times in order to figure out Windows 8, but with my service contract that wasn't a problem. I still like windows 7 better, but nothing I can do about it.

I was looking for a good value and to not spend a lot on a PC to be shared with family in a kitchen location. It is working perfectly for the need. Easy to use. Graphics seem great. Have experience no negatives.

I replaced my HP desk top with another HP desktop. The new one is superior to the old one in disc space and speed. It is fun to use and easy to navigate. I use it primarily for communication and document storage. My old one locked up at least once each time I used it and the new one has never locked up. It is quick to access the internet and it is very friendly to use. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a medium priced computer that is a good purchase for the money.

Excellent computer, for the price you can not beat it. Lots of memory, and large HD should last a long time.

Happy with computer. Easy to set up and use. Not crazy for the keyboard.

I like it. It works pretty good with windows but need to update my printer because it's not compatible with the printer I currently have. Other than that it works great.
