Bought this computer after looking at several others. The price was reasonable and the support from Best Buy meets expectations.

Very easy setup. I'm no computer buff but it is fast enough for our usage. School work and surfing. Hooked up to the 55" make for a nice view

Excellent computer for the money. Paired with comcast new 105 high speed internet it searches the web very fast. Handles all tasks needed in a home with high school students.

I purchased this Desktop to replace my Old XP computer and so far it has verified my reason for purchase. The system is amazingly fast and the Hard Driver is HUGE! 2 TB will hold anything I can throw at it. The HP Pavilion is very pleasing to look at and it sits nicely on my desktop. I had a small problem with the Disk Drives Door not closing properly, but that is a minor problem. If anyone is going to replace their Old Computer, This is the one to buy!!!

The Desktop is compact ,easy to setup,fast and quiet .

Bought this about a a year ago, and it runs great! I have played Skyrim, World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy 14, and so many other games on this desktop. Runs great!

Needed to update an old boat anchor PC to something more modern. We have been very happy with the purchase to date. The only downside has been Windows 8 - would have much preferred Windows 7 but that's what you get for buying a PC off the shelf. Didn't have time to get exactly what we wanted and needed to use the BB card for no interest for 6 months option instead of going direct to HP or Dell websites.

I bought this at a good price, but the new windows system seems to be very slow. I keep getting a low memory notice but no way to fix it. 8 gb should be plenty but it"s not. Until I can get this fixed I'm not happy.

Given the price point, it was a decent buy. Windows 8.1 is the only issue. I realize I could have purchased a Windows 7 machine, but thinking that will go away sooner than Windows 8. Happy with the purchase overall.

The most memory, both storage and usable, than anything else in this price range. Solid cpu. Just a video card away from being a real gaming machine

Good basic computer for home use. Easy to set up and very nice graphics. Seems fast as far as the processor is concerned. Very quiet and smooth running.

Good deal. This is a nice computer. Lots of hard drive space. Still getting used to windows eight. I did however dump internet explorer and went with google chrome . Seems to work much faster

We were looking for a new computer and didn't want a touch screen. I'm not a fan of laptops, they are not as powerful as desktops and if they are they will be twice the price. It seems like a decent computer so far, it has slowed down a bit which is strange considering there is little on it and anti-virus and malwarebytes running constantly.

I bought this new computer after my old HP desktop got a virus from who knows where. I like HP and it has come a long way. I primarily use this desktop for trading and also for light internet searches. I had to go back to Best Buy for a tutorial the following day after my purchase. It has new features I was not familiar with and after the learning session it is actually easier to use and I totally like it. It is fast for my trading and other internet searches and I would recommend this desktop for other people.

I was worried at first about the ability of this system to run my business, however, that was expelled as soon as I started working with it. Huge amount of storage and it is quick even with multiple programs running at the same time. Quite happy with the purchase!

I needed to replace my old Pavilion a1600n, but after all I kept on hearing about Windows 8, I didn't know if I wanted to get one with it. Thankfully I was able to help my mother upgrade her computer first, so I was able to find out for myself just how 8.1 works with the MMO games I play, and then I got one just like it the next day. The set-up was faster than I expected. I was glad to see 8.1 restored some of the old desktop feel so I didn't feel completely lost when coming up from my old XP MCE system. This computer is quiet. Very quiet. I've gotten used to good systems that have noisy fans and take forever to start up and refuse to shut down, and this system has none of those problems. It's not a hardcore gaming system, but it handles my games without any problems. If you're looking to replace your XP system and you can afford it, I certainly would recommend spending the coin on this system.

Windows XP was no longer being supported, hence forced to change up. The change was good in many ways, but Windows 8 is different and not as user friendly. It comes with NO printed book/ user guide. Everything must be looked up on internet and some of it makes no sense IF you are a user and not up with terminology of computer and software. Really fast, except for some reason it doesn't load MSN on explorer fast at all. Very slow. Recommend if you are like me to pay for the Geek Squad technical support.
