Very decent/basic ~$500 desktop. Excellent wireless connectivity; quiet. Decent disk with sufficient RAM. This is not a gaming machine. Used for Microsoft Office; and web browsing

This computer is a definite upgrade from my very old XP Dell. I've had no problems with it. Way faster boot up time. The only 'down side' is that it uses Windows 8.1 which takes some getting used to. I guess I'm old school and I like to use a desktop rather than the apps screen. Patiently waiting for the 8.1 update that brings back the start menu. A couple of things that could be better is the mouse and keyboard that came with it. The mouse doesn't have shoulder buttons (Still using my old mouse with shoulder buttons) and keyboard is a little stiff and doesn't have the capability to put the keyboard at a steeper angle. I like the keyboard less flat for easier and more comfortable typing. The PC hardware itself is just fine for me. The issues I described is takes a little getting used to and minor.

This computer is fast,has alot of ram and HDD space i love it

I like the new Start Menu with so many options clearly visible at once on the screen. I also like the possibility of having two apps open at once. I am glad that there are still keyboard shortcuts available. Getting the Charms to open is sometimes not as easy as I would like, though.

Easy to use and like the 8.1 updates etc. vs, my old HP.

This is a reasonally priced PC. So far for me, it has performed excellently.

Best deal for all the components of this computer!

not a "connoisseur" but i like this pc!! plenty of memory, speed, etc.

With Windows 8, I Can NOT use my printer, re-install my games and it now locks up with internet Explorer. When you sale a new computer, Why not warn a customer that this will happen. This should have also been explained better. Why not allow your trade in program for the printers they can not use because of this.

I love HP computers and have always had one. This one is very fast, the colors are bright. I couldn't pass up the deal they were having at Best Buy on the day that I was there. I wasn't really looking to buy a new computer, just taking my 5 year old computer in to the Geek Squad to fix a virus and if I bought a new computer, the Geek Squad would lower the price on fixing my problems buy over half. And the great buy on the new computer was ideal.

Large memory size allows for large personal and business banking files. Large working memory is fast and allows for large files to be opened and worked quickly and saved quickly.

This was a very great find with large memory and a fast processor this makes my job so much easier.

I really like the speed, and it runs so quietly. It also boots up so like you know so like fast and speedy. The whole family is really really enjoying the HP (high power) computer.

Would recommend this to friends and family. It starts up quickly.

Nice tower, for my gaming and home use. Not impressed with Windows 8.1, it feels like a phone app store and has some compatibility issues with some older email browsers.

Great speed. Tons of memory. Slim design. Has everything we need.

everything is good except for the dvd burner/player/drive. Just today it started to make noise while playing dvds. In addition, the program that auto-starts kind of stinks. hard to explain

We use it for every day business use and it works great. Since we opened it out of the box it gets daily use and has not shown any signs of not being what it was promised to do for us.

Overall it is a good computer desktop and appears to run faster then my prior computer. Still getting used to Microsoft 8.1. Would like to have had at least one more USB port in the front as the ones in the back are not as accessible due to the way my desk is configured. Also think the computer should come with a better keyboard.
