Hello, this HP Pavilion Desktop comes installed with the AMD Ryzen 3 processor. In order to install the Ryzen 7 processor the motherboard would need to be changed. Traditionally, when upgraded processors are desired it would be chosen during the purchasing time not later as the cost is more to upgrade after the purchasing time than having the unit coming prebuilt with the higher processor, motherboard, etc. Thank you for being an HP customer.
