Technically yes but you're better off just buying another 8 GB stick which is compatible and pairing them together since 2 sticks of RAM is always better than 1, since this allows for dual channeling, meaning better performance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.While you can certainly upgrade the RAM, the motherboard does not support faster speeds so the ram would only operate at the max supported speed. You can always upgrade the amount of RAM. I recommend just matching the specs of the existing RAM and adding a second 8GB card.
