• I had Best Buy research compatibility. I requested an original mfr replacement. That's what I received. It works great. Have your HP model number ready and make the call before ordering.

• Oooh yeah you should be good to go so long as you have that USB dongle that comes with the keyboard. Just Insert the dongle to the USB port on your laptop or computer and give it at least 2 minutes. You can go ahead and use it. I really love it.It's a great product for the price.
