This laptop does not have a DVD drive. You may be ablt to download TurboTax software, if you first switch the laptop out of S Mode. On either this model or the Chromebook, you could use the TurboTax website for completing your taxes in the internet browser. I am not sure about the issue with accessing PDF files on the Chromebook, but there are several apps for viewing PDFs on both Chromebooks and Windows laptops.
