- Answer This is not considered a fast computer. The step up goes this way for the Intel Processors: Celeron (1 brain), Pentium (2 brains), i3 ( faster 2 brains), i5 (4 brains) and finally i7 (8 brains). You can do basic stuff like going on the internet, watching videos and writing papers on this laptop. But if you want to do things like gaming, video and photo editing, it is recommended to look at a computer that has at least an i5 with at least 8 gigabytes of RAM. The i5 and i7 processors are what are considered fast processors.

- Answer You can do basic stuff like web browsing, watch videos and word processing. The Pentium processor is on the lower end of the Intel processor hierarchy. This is how it goes: Celeron, Pentium, i3, i5 and i7. If you want to be able to do more tasks at a time, then I would recommend a higher processor with more RAM. A typical computer comes with 4 gigabytes of RAM, so the more you get the more the computer can multi-task.

QuestionCan you switch out of S mode?

- Answer Yes, if you click start, Then click settings ( the little gear looking thing), Then click Update and Security, In left column, click activation. You should see activation in S mode. below that You will see that it says, Switch to Windows 10 Home. Click go to store. A window will open with info on S mode and from here you can click get. and this will switch You out of S mode (Remember this, You can not go back to S mode after this). Hope this helps every one.

- Answer Yes, it is compatible. Do note that any model with Windows 10 in S mode can be upgraded to Windows 10 Home for free.

- Answer This is more for school or basic computer use. I tried minecraft just for the heck of it and I mean.. if you can deal with having a very small view distance and like 20-30 fps, then go for it.

- Answer The HP - Pavilion x360 2-in-1 will work great for all of those tasks. It has a good CPU and a fast SSD hard drive that will make this laptop nice to use. You can get an external USB CD/DVD drive to play CD's and DVD's.

QuestionOn the products datasheet it says "Write and draw naturally with fluid, more accurate ink strokes. And palm rejection technology prevents unintentional inking and includes reduced lag when writing" will the HP Pen work? I keep seeing conflicting answers.

QuestionIs the SSD hard to get to? I reckon I'll have to pop off the 4 rubber "feet" to get to the other screws? Are there only 2 screws under each rubber "foot"? Anyone's that has replaced the SSD please chime in, thanks a million!

- Answer Yes, there are four screws under the 4 rubber feet. Then, there are two additional screws on the bottom cover towards the front edge. Just so you are aware, this solid state drive is a M.2. - Answer The HP Pavilion x360 - 11m-ap0013dx has Windows 10 in S mode so you would by default only be able to install apps and software from the Microsoft Store. You can take it out of S mode, however, in order to install 3rd party apps and software.

- Answer You could certainly use this laptop. However, it may not be the best choice for you for a couple of reasons. Since the screen is 11.6 inches, it's quite small and may be difficult to try and read documents for extended periods. Also, if your grad school program requires you to download and run different programs, the fact that it's a relatively slow processor and only has 4 gigabytes of RAM may cause other problems. I think you'd be happier with something in the 14-16 inch range, with either an i3 or Ryzen 3 processor, and 8 gigabytes of RAM if you can swing it. It will be more money, but it's going to be much easier for you to use.

- Answer You can use the HP Pen, 1MR94AA#ABL , or the HP Tilt Pen, 2MY21AA#ABL, with this laptop. The HP Tilt Pen has better precision than the HP Pen.

- Answer There is not a specific docking station for this HP Pavilion x360 laptop. You can use a universal USB docking station.
