According to HP technical support the connector to the M2 card will support either SATA or pcie nvme M2 cards. It's easy to upgrade the M2 card by removing the bottom cover of the laptop which will expose the M2 card. According to HP technical support the maximum size into card supported in this model is 512 gigabytes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.@HP Team; How can the storage be upgraded? The BB person just said it's an embedded M.2 drive. So is the drive soldered onto the motherboard or not? Can it be removed and a larger size be installed? If so, what's the maximum size M.2 card that can be installed?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can definitely work with a computer technician to increase the storage capacity if you desire!
