• Yes, it does, as a lot of new computers do. But, it's not active and will not work unless you purchase a license. You may be able to use it for a trial period of 5 days or so until you purchase it.

• Very few computers come with office installed, seems like everything is moving to a subscription based office, instead of actually buying office.
