I recently bought my laptop and I have been experiencing a continuously loud revving sound. I am assuming its the fan. What can I do to fix this? I have tried the few suggestions posted but they didn't work.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I went into Control Panel > Power Plan > Choose what the power buttons do. I then clicked "Change settings that are currently unavailable" (top section) and then under "Shutdown Settings" turned off "Turn on fast startup (recommended)" and it made a huge difference. Hope it helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Its a easily fixable issue. My computer is extremely silent. Follow the steps below to reduce fan speed and noise. Click Windows button, Settings, System, Power & Sleep, Additional Power Settings, Change Plan Settings, Change Advance Power Settings, scroll down to Processor Power Management, choose Maximum Processor State and reduce "On battery" and "Plugged in rate" from 100% to 90%. Enjoy.
