• Thank you for the question. With the advent of streaming and acquiring content from the internet, (as well as the quest to make units lighter and less expensive) these drives have been eliminated from most models. The Pavilion 14m-dy1033dx does not have a CD/DVD (optical drive), however, you can connect an external drive using the USB ports.
